Background

During his childhood, Harry Patramanis split time between his native Greece and Germany. His early talent for photography and visual storytelling gained him entry into the Munich Film School, and it was there that his thesis film ‘Frankie’ was selected to screen at prestigious film festivals throughout Europe.
Building on that positive start to his career, Harry went on to become a prolific commercial director in Europe, even opening his own award-winning production company in Athens before eventually moving to the United States. Harry now resides in Los Angeles and continues to direct commercial campaigns all over the world. He has won numerous awards and has worked for such clients as

Unilever, Citibank, Toyota, Chevrolet, Sony and Coca Cola.
Harry has recently completed his first feature film through his own film company, A Four Letter Word. ‘Fynbos’, a deeply personal and artistic film, has met with much critical acclaim and received the Kodak Vision award for best cinematography at Slamdance.
Harry is represented by CoMPANY FILMS and continues to direct commercials driven by narrative, innovation and his deep love of filmmaking.
